Rental vehicle must be returned during office hours.

NOTE: Some locations may have a key drop available:

Drop Box Available: If the customer chooses to leave the vehicle, the customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages or theft of the vehicle may have incurred during after hours) until the contract can be closed on the following business day.

Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.

Optional Coverages

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Optional (taxable)
Customer is liable for full value of the Avis vehicle if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not taken.  Purchase of CDW reduces liability to 600.00 USD in the event of an accident or theft to the Avis vehicle.
Note:  Theft which occurs due to customer negligence (not locking vehicle or securing keys) is not covered.

Theft Protection (TP) is included in the CDW   

Note:  If you require additional insurance coverage you may purchase locally to reduce/remove the insurance excess.  Just ask at the Avis rental desk when you collect your car.

Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

Credit Card Policies

Avis Anguilla accepts Avis Charge Cards, American Express,  Mastercard, Visa.  An additional charge card hold will apply.  Depending on car group the hold will be the estimated cost of rental, plus 600.00 USD if LDW is accepted or 1,000.00 USD if LDW is declined.

Debit Card Policies

Debit cards are not accepted.

Drivers License

A valid driver's license from country of residence is required.  International driving permit (IDP) is required only for countries with non-Roman alphabet to serve as a translation.  Drivers must also obtain a local driving license at the beginning of the rental.  The local driving license is valid for 3 months and may be obtained at the Avis counter for 20.00 USD.

Public Liability and Property Damage

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

Age Requirements

At this location the minimum age is 25 for all car groups.  

Estimated Totals

Approximate total includes base rate, taxes, and surcharges. Items such as coupon discounts, child safety seats, local driving permit and gas are NOT included in the estimated total. Optional coverages and one-way fees are subject to tax in certain locations. This tax is not reflected in the Estimated Total.

Estimated total is subject to change based upon exchange rates at the time of rental.
